Charitable Sports Productions (CSP) Charitable Sports Productions
is an event management company dedicated to providing services and
financial support to named beneficiaries through the proceeds of sporting
events and programs.
Leadership and Management Mike Lenhart, Senior Partner, Charitable Sports Productions, LLC In 2005, long-time age grouper triathlete, Mike Lenhart, came up with the idea of a pre-season event that was part "information" and part "party" for the Atlanta endurance sports community. He sat at the table at a local bagel shop and tossed around the idea with other local athletes and retailers for what was the beginning of "SEE-ME", the Southeastern Endurance & Multisport Expo. Back then, however, the event was called "CTEP", the Concourse Triathlon Expo and Party. In 2010, SEE-ME will celebrate its fifth successful year and has virally grown to become one of the largest preseason endurance and multisport events in the region. Lenhart has remained the executive producer of the SEE-ME since its beginning. SEE-ME allows Lenhart and CSP to create unique avenues to not only provide the best endurance sports information to all athletes but also give back to charities that closely align with the southeast's endurance sports community. Mike's other passion is through an organization he founded called The
Getting2Tri Foundation (G2T) (http://www.getting2tri.org). G2T's goal is integrating individuals with physical disabilities into their
local communities. G2T uses the sports
disciplines of swimming, cycling, running, racing wheelchair, and hand-cycle as
the vehicles for accomplishing this mission. Mike
is a 1990 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point (NY) and
earned his MBA from Georgia State University in Atlanta in 2001. He spent seven years on active duty as an
Infantry officer in the US Army highlighted by a company command in the
historic 82nd Airborne Division.
Mike has held several management and sales positions for prominent
companies over a period of nearly 12 years since leaving the military. In the fall of 2009, however, Mike decided to
pursue the leadership of his non-profit foundation in a full-time capacity. Getting2Tri is a 501 (c)3 tax-exempt organization. In his role as president of Getting2Tri, Mike leads the foundation’s vision of extending the organization’s reach to a world-wide audience through its annual National ParaTriathlete Training Camp, online resources, virtual communities and continued planning for his goal of a world-class "brick and mortar" sports institute for individuals with disabilities. Be design, SEE-ME annually benefits The Getting2Tri Foundation and one other named southeastern charity organization. For information on how your organization can submit an application for the 2011 SEE-ME "second" charity, email your request to: info@charitablesportsproductions.com. Announcement of the 2011 SEE-ME named charity (along with Getting2Tri) will be on October 1, 2010. |
